3.
Palpation and Spine Examination
The Chiropractor will observe the positioning of your spine and pelvis through observation and palpation of the area.

Diagnostic Imaging
We have our own X-Ray unit on site designed specifically for capturing postural diagnostic images. This means that you will be in a standing position, and the X-Ray will be used to rule out underlying issues. You will not be asked to remove your clothing, however you must remove any metal items such as belts and underwire bras that may obscure the image. Please plan to wear something comfortable such as athletic-leisure wear.

Discussion of Findings
On your second appointment we will review the results of the examination with you. Here, we'll explain the possible condition(s), the likely causes, and how chiropractic care can help.
Together we'll set some goals around what's most important to you (eg. pain reduction, improved mobility, posture correction, etc.) Based on these short and long-term goals and the doctor's recommendations we'll create a care plan tailored to your needs.
Your care plan will outline:
-
Frequency of Visits: e.g., 3x/week for the first few weeks, tapering to 1x/week or as needed in the later stages
-
Specific Techniques Used: e.g., spinal manipulation, stretching exercises, and corrective exercises
-
Expected Outcomes: What you can expect at different stages of the plan and the anticipated timeline for improvement.

We offer manual and instrument (Integrator) based adjusting and we will tailor your care based on your needs and preferences.
Dr. Bako is always happy to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Re-Assessments and Motor Vehicle Accidents
When there is a change in the condition or circumstances a patient is experiencing (new symptoms, a recent car accident, etc.) or it has been more than 6 months since your last chiropractic visit, a re-assessment will be scheduled. These appointments can range from 20 minutes to 50 minutes depending on the circumstances.
The re-assessment will allow us to conduct a more thorough review of your progress from the initial assessment and discuss any changes in the treatment plan based on how well you're responding.

In the event of a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) a longer appointment will be scheduled and we'll collect information pertaining to your insurer if you intend to file a claim.
If our philosophies and practice sound interesting to you, please feel free to get in touch. We are always accepting new patients and would love to meet with you to road-map your path to improved health and wellness.

We'd love to meet you.
